Abstract: The current economic, environmental, and social
context is constantly evolving and presents increasingly complex global
challenges that require greater flexibility, creativity, adaptability, and
dynamism in order to pursue sustainable development in the long term. From this
perspective, it’s crucial for companies to innovate not only the solutions they
offer but also how these solutions are managed and processed, changing their business
models. The concept of sustainability has had a profound impact on the
evolution of business models over the past few decades, significantly
contributing to the emergence of new paradigms, like the circular economy. This
model represents a real revolution compared to the traditional linear economic
model, which follows the take, make, consume, and throw away path. Circular economy, on the other hand, promotes creating
