Abstract: The purpose of this study
was to examine the relationship between organizational culture and the level of
administrative professionalization in upholstery microbusinesses located in
Acapulco, Guerrero. A quantitative approach, with a correlational scope and
non-experimental design, was used, through the application of a 24-item
instrument to a sample of 34 participants selected through stratified
probabilistic sampling from a population of 51 microenterprises. The results
indicate a positive, statistically significant relationship of moderate
magnitude (r = 0.613, p < 0.001), where organizational culture explains
37.5% of the variance in administrative professionalization. The mission
dimension was identified as the main structural weakness. Although the sample
size limits the generalizability of the findings, the study provides relevant
empirical evidence in a little-explored sector, highlighting the role of
organizational culture as a key factor in the transition to formal management
practices. DOI: https://doi.org/10.51505/IJEBMR.2026.10412 |
