Abstract:

Sustainable development is a global challenge that primarily involves national governments and international institutions. Businesses also play an important role and can significantly impact this process by implementing practices that respect these objectives internally and by integrating them harmoniously into the communities in which they operate. In this paper, we will first focus on the importance of the concept of sustainability and its evolution over the years. We will then focus on its importance in corporate management, recognizing the importance of preserving natural resources and adopting responsible business practices to protect the environment and society.
